Selection type: super weather resistant polyester powder
Function: Resist outdoor atmospheric corrosion, rainwater, and small amounts of chemical dust/acidic mist, resist UV, maintain light and color, and reduce maintenance;
Restriction: Cannot directly contact concentrated acid and alkali spray for a long time.
2. Chemical supporting electrical equipment casing (very typical application)
Application objects: Explosion proof distribution box, junction box, distribution cabinet shell, motor shell, frequency converter shell, field instrument protection box, sensor protective cover
Selection type: Insulated polyester powder, partially super weather resistant polyester
Advantages: Good electrical insulation, resistance to moisture and heat, resistance to chemical atmospheric corrosion, and good impact toughness; No VOC, meeting the environmental protection requirements for painting in chemical explosion-proof workshops.
3. External coating of chemical storage tank accessories and non immersed storage tanks
Application objects: Tank outer wall, tank top, ladder, manhole cover plate, tank railing (note: Polyester is rarely used for anti-corrosion inside the tank, and epoxy is often used for strong medium immersion on the inner wall)
Selection: Ultra weather resistant polyester
Function: Resist sulfur-containing/chlorinated chemical atmospheres, rainwater, and ultraviolet radiation in the factory area, prevent outer wall corrosion, maintain appearance and long-term protection.
4. External protection of chemical pipelines (outer wall of pipelines)
Application: External surface coating of process pipelines, water supply and drainage pipelines, and cable protection steel pipes
Key distinction: Polyester is generally not used for the medium in contact with the inner wall of the pipeline; Polyester is only used for external wall atmospheric anti-corrosion, and is resistant to rainwater and chemical volatile mist.
5. Ventilation, dust removal, and environmental protection equipment shells in chemical workshops
Equipment: Fan casing, dust removal box, exhaust gas duct, activated carbon adsorption equipment casing, outer plate of flue gas cooler
Selection: Chemical resistant polyester powder
Applicable to exhaust gas environments with low concentrations of weak acids, weak bases, and salt spray; Epoxy is generally used for high concentration and strong corrosive exhaust gases.
6. Chemical storage, shelves, and material frames
Storage steel shelves, pallets, material baskets, container accessories, outdoor material storage brackets
Advantages: Moisture resistance, chemical drip resistance (mild), hard and wear-resistant coating, not easy to knock off paint, environmentally friendly and solvent-free, no solvent evaporation safety risks in the warehouse.
7. Chemical instruments, small chemical auxiliary equipment, pump casing (non medium contact surface)
Pump casing outer surface, small heat exchanger casing, sampling device, laboratory chemical equipment rack
Only used for the outer surface of the equipment, polyester powder is generally not used for the inner cavity in contact with the material.
8. Sewage treatment supporting equipment (mild corrosion condition)
The steel structure, instrument box, grille frame, and outdoor control cabinet outer wall of the sewage treatment plant;
High concentration sewage immersion area, polyester is not suitable, priority is given to epoxy.
